My pictures of Kilo and family

I first met Kilo at Durango, V2K 4Corners Rally. The first international rally, and my first overseas rally trip.

I can't recall whether Toa took the pic of him in the yellow doo-rag, or me, but he was the first man from Kansas I ever met! And a fine friendly chap too!

On that trip I also visited the east coast, and after SEVROC at Suches, visited with TooTall and Deb Britch. From their place I drove up to Fayetteville NC and stayed with the Babe.

It was after that time that the mysterious Kansas NC romance blossomed, and on my return to SC in my 2003 tour Kilo was part of the furniture.

While staying with him and Babe, Tommy arrived, and Kilo and Babe, him, and Buff went out to a family dinner together.

I include Tommy in this memorial because he sure was part of the family group, as he will continue to be in leading the service for Mark.

By 2003 Kilo was not the same quiet chap I had met at V2K. He was "alive" in his new relationship with Susie and our dinner together was a night to remember. Whenever I wear the Joes Crab Shack tee shirts I bought that night, I recall the fun we had....

RIP Mark. Kia Kaha wahine Susie. (Be strong, Susie).
